A
Atlantic City – I went there for a couple of days. I hadn’t been since the funniness of going there for Millennium New Years sick on a Hallucinogenic fever. This time I was not sick. I had fun, for some reason casino lights energize me.

Alls we did was walk around, play a game or two, and have fun.

Apollo Bars – Went down to Washington DC to grab me a piece of “Lost” fan/geekiness. It was rather anti-climatic, having just walked up to a girl, and was handed the candy bar…but at least I have one of my own.

B
Brand Launcher – My second web design job attained this year.

Backyard - Living in a rowhouse in the ghetto, there was a little backyard. And I did my best to make it as great a space as I could. I threw away all the old trash and broken furnature, cleaned up broken glass and dirt and rubble. I bought a hammock, a kiddie pool, torches, and arranged and re-arranged many times over. I loved my little ghetto paradise.

Burp - I am FINALLY able to burp like everyone else, and Im damn proud. I dont do silly little hamster-like burps anymore, now I belch and it feels good.

C
Chevy Chase Bank – What a cluster fuck this bank caused me, they cancelled my check card out of nowhere, sent me another, cancelled that one by mistake, sent me another with the same numbers as the original cancelled card and naturally that one couldn’t be activated…all the while I didn’t really have access to my money. I told them to fuck off and closed my account. It was a very stressful three weeks.

Chai Tea – Tried it for the very first time, and it’s yummy
Candy Cane Stolen – Pretty damn ghetto, someone stole one of my white holiday candy canes I had on the front lawn.

Confused going through NYC - Heading home from Canada, I seemed to have missed the exit to 95 South, and ended up going back and forth through bridges, around the airport...it took a solid hour and extra money on my EZPass, but I got home just fine.

D
Dell Laptop – Yay, I have a laptop of my very own from now on!!!!

Dehumidifier – A very wise investment on my part, for living in a basement…water leaks in a lot.

E
Escaping Kitty – A rather scary day, where she squeezed through a small opening in the fence. I spent hours and hours running around the neighborhood looking for her. I couldn’t deal with the realization that a cat I only had for a month had run away. But I did not give up in my search, and found her that day in an abandoned house next door.

F
Flooding in Basement – While it was only about a centimeter of water, having any kind of flooding on the floor sucks, big time.

Fleas! – Didn’t think I would make it through this one. I lost sleep, and spent a lot of time and money on fleas. It took an entire month of vacuuming up the carpets, sometimes twice a day. The cat went to the vet, I had so many flea bites I looked bruised.

G
Groundhog Day – Made it to Punxsutawney, PA for the first time. It’s the most retarded and adorable event to attend.

H
Homicide – Not a fun thing to hear. It was 3 in the morning, and I heard four gun shots. I was freaked and called 911 about the shooting, not knowing what was wrong. I had called in anonymously. Then got a call back on my cell phone, telling me that the shooting turned out to be a homicide.

Hack into DVR - I was so glad that my dad and I did that. It was a simple process of taking the top off the DVR, connecting it to my computer with an IDE cable, and then mounting the drive.

I
IBM Systems Magazine ad – My first real mass print designs. The ad was placed on the credits page of the magazine, a good spot.

J
Jacob & Sundstrom – My first web design job attained this year. Did the website.

K
Kiddie Pool – I had to be cool and go out and get a $40 kiddie pool for the backyard. I did use it quite a lot, having the pool be my favorite place to “languish” in the sun.
But maintaining the pool was a pain in the ass

Kill Bill Halloween Costume – That pretty much explains it.

L
Lost Cell Phone – For the first time in my life I truly lost my cell phone. But, to the thanks of a kind hearted woman, whom picked up my phone and called my most recently dialed number, I was able to get my phone back. I gave her $40 in the gratefulness

M
Mosquitoes in backyard – Most disappointing I wasn’t able to spend as much time in the backyard as I would have liked due to the damn mosquitoes, I thought I was going to get west Nile virus I got so many bites

N
Noodles & Company - I first ate at a N&C this year, and they have got to be the future of restaurant dining. Great food, real fast, real cheap, and its not greasy and gross.

O
Olympic Games Curling - I was most excited to see so many hours upon hours of curling this year on TV. Most of the time curling is only shown in the middle of the night and then only a few games…but this time I was able to get my fill of Curling for years to come.

Old Stein Inn – The place we all went to eat for my birthyday. A yummy German Restaurant by Annapolis, MD

P
Piglet antenna topper stolen – Another thing stolen from me in the ghetto. Would you believe that some piece of crap ripped off my Piglet antenna topper, that I had SUPER GLUED to my antenna?!

Possum – Possum is Awesome! I got a kitty, and she has been one of the best things to happen to me this year. She’s fat and sometimes stinky, but she is so damn cute, I don’t know how I was able to live with out her.

Q
Quebec – Yay, my first trip to Canada since 2002! It was great to be there again, the city inspires me, I love Montreal. Actually, I loved Montreal so much that once I went home to Baltimore, I went into a bit of a depression.

R
Rainstorm at Artscape – This was the funniest rainstorm I have ever seen. The day started off balls to the walls hot. Then the clouds came, and then there were downpours, then sun, then rain, then sun, and then the clouds came back. Off in the distance we saw the rain moving towards us like a wall, and in its wake, people were shouting and running for cover. It pushed onward like a freight train, and smacked us all with such a force I couldn’t help but scream and scream. It was bitterly cold water, and the whole situation was rather funny because the weather had changed so much that afternoon. Although my friend, who was too tough for an umbrella, got so cold his fingers were blue and he was sick for a week after that. Ha-ha tough guy.

Rocky movies - I finally was able to watch all of the movies, including the new “Rocky Balboa” aka “Rocky 6”. And after my viewings, I can say that “Rocky IV” is the best movie ever made.

S
Serpentine Belt – Who knew that your entire car runs off the serpentine belt? Well I didn’t know until mine got loose one summer afternoon while I was on my way to Philadelphia.

T

U
Unemployment Ended – I had to go to a class basically telling you “Hey, Unemployment only lasts for 6 months in Maryland.  What the hell are you going to do after that?”  Fortunately I got a job soon after that, and was able to be just fine.

V
Vehicle switch from Legacy to Saturn – After the Legacy failed inspection, and had well over 223,000 miles on it, it was time to send the car out to pasture.  My dad bought a brand new Saturn, so he gave me his 1997 Dark Green Saturn.  While I like the Subaru Legacy much better, the Saturn will so me just fine.

Vitamin Water - After a year and a half for teasing someone for drinking it (I called it "scam water"), I got hooked. It must have been the very hot summer along with living in a place with no A/C. But during the summer, I started craving this stuff, and now its pratically all I drink.

W
Wet/Dry Vac – I could not have made it through this summer with out one.   For it was able to suck up all the water that leaked in from rainstorms, as well as powerfully vacuum up the fleas that were in my carpeting.  Both were life savers to me.

Wachovia Bank – After the clusterfuck with Chevy Chase Bank, I moved all my banking business to Wachovia.  They sold me on the free checking with out Direct Deposit.  I recommend them to anyone.

White Castle – Hells Yes!!!  For the first time, I sat myself down inside a White Castle, and ate me some teeny-tiny burgers.  They are so delicious!  All the onions, the little square of meat, the soft buns….a little slider from heaven.

X

Y
You Tube – I wouldn’t have made it awake through a lot of days if it wasn’t for YouTube.  Im not too interested in “original” content, I like more looking up stuff from TV I once saw long ago.  YouTube entertains me, and wakes me up if I find myself about to doze off into web site code.
