I love vintage/classic circus graphic design and style. I love all the typography, the colors, the costumes. Its so kitchy and stimulating to me. Large striped tents, diamond patterns, yellows and reds, and lovely little glittered costumes…fabulous.

WJFK was there for me after high school, when I went to community college, and after that when I wasn’t working at all. It was there when I moved, it was there when I got a job, there during my job, there when I lost my job. That station was there for me for most of my life…14 years.

Its a pretty interesting read, and maybe a little funny. Many diagrams of the “DNA” of the past logos (taking the logo and pointing out the curves by using a circle), previous bottle shapes, design proportions…and then comparing the logo to the magnetic force of the earth??? Last weekend, I was bored and alone and figured to make my way downtown to the ‘ol Artscape. I usually just drive there, but for Artscape, I take the light rail, meaning a typical 15 minute drive is turned into an hour journey of driving to the light rail, waiting for the train, and all the traffic the train waits on downtown. Its pretty annoying, but thats the way it has to be.

I found this site, Virus Total, and did a scan of the file. It took a long time to scan one little font file, longer than I thought. The results were that the file was fine. It just seemed pretty cool, an online file scan for anyone if they unable for one reason or another to install file scanner software…check the file online.
